APP for Dyslexia
一款幫助國小一二年級閱讀障礙小朋友學習加法的App，從基本的概念介紹，直式計算到最後的應用題，在每個關卡中，將抽象的數字概念圖像化，以拆解步驟的方式幫助孩子克服工作記憶不足的問題。藉由遊戲的方式無痛學習，透過好玩有趣的互動反覆練習，培養足夠應付日常生活數學問題的能力。
數次於台北市中山國小特教班進行訪談，蒐集閱讀障礙兒童的案例及資料，製作Persona後決定以數學算式對閱讀障礙的工作記憶改善進行切入。
An educational app designed to help first- and second-grade elementary school students with reading difficulties learn addition. The learning journey progresses from basic mathematical concepts and vertical calculations to word problems. At each stage, abstract numerical concepts are visualized and broken down into manageable steps, helping children overcome challenges related to limited working memory. Through game-based learning and engaging, repetitive interactions, the app enables children to practice without pressure while developing the mathematical skills needed to solve everyday problems.
User Research & Design Approach
Conducted multiple interviews with students in the special education class at Taipei Municipal Zhongshan Elementary School to collect cases and insights on children with reading difficulties. Based on the research findings, developed user personas and identified working memory as a key area for intervention. The project then focused on using mathematical calculations as a practical approach to help improve working memory and support learning among children with reading difficulties.
